Kate Vander Leest

Hey, I'm Kate VL, welcome to my site! I'm from Iowa City, Iowa, where I started dancing at a young age and grew up surrounded by music. Once I found my love of storytelling through theatre, I went on to pursue my dreams at Florida State University where I recently graduated with my BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in Education. Now I'm based in New York City!

I most recently performed in Mamma Mia! onboard Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas. I have also performed professionally in Louisiana and Georgia. In my free time, I love to spend time with my people (and travel to see them!), find good coffee, practice yoga, and rewatch Gilmore Girls.
