Kate Vander Leest

Hey, I'm Kate VL, welcome to my site! I'm from Iowa City, Iowa, where I started dancing at a young age and grew up surrounded by music. Once I found my love of storytelling through theatre, I went on to pursue my dreams at Florida State University where I recently graduated with my BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in Education. Now I'm based in New York City!

I have performed professionally in Georgia and Louisiana, and soon I will be performing across the Caribbean onboard the Allure of the Seas in Royal Caribbean's Mamma Mia! Aside from musical theatre, you can find me jamming to ABBA music, chatting with friends over coffee, doing at-home yoga, or rewatching Gilmore Girls.
